Health and Social Care Students
It has been brought to my attention that most student members in the Health and Social Care Faculty are unaware that they are Members of O U S A. Those mostly concerned here are those studying Nursing Qualifications and are members of the R C N (Royal College of Nursing) and those studying Social Workers Qualifications, who belong to U N I S O N (the social care workers Trade Union). Any student working towards these qualifications should be aware that being members of the R C N or U N I S O N does not dis-bar them from being members of O U S A, who can provide study-related advice and support. This is a general message; Vice President Equal Opps is following this through with the O U.
